Smudgy Antics weekly challenge...

with goodbyes and a new year!

This is my last post for Smudgy Antics ( for now ) ;). I´ve been admitted to a school where I will study animal care for one year ( a dream of mine) and I will move a cross my whole country and live there for a year. It means that I can not be on the Smudgy Antics design team anymore. My main focus has to be school.

I met some wonderful people during this period and it aches my heart to leave all the laughter, great chats and going through lifes ups and downs...will miss it so much ♥

Anyways this weeks challenge at Smudgy Antics is "scrap it up" very easy..just use some leftovers from paper, ribbon or whatever you got.. I use a lot of watercolour paper so I get lots of scraps from them and I´ve used them for my project today that is (I don´t know what you call it) placement cards for the dinner table att New Years Eve with names on all the guests. I think they turned out fun and I hope the rest can see the humour in it :)

Used my NEW rubber from Smeared ink - "Creepy li'l Grumpies" set that I coloured with distress markers.

I´ve used a NEW cool digi image from Smeared Ink called "Hand of St. Nick".

Coloured the image with distress markers and water. The swirls is a clearstamp from Hero Arts. The snowflake is a die from quickutz, cut in glitter cardstock.

I love this image :) great fun, don´t you think?

I don´t know why..I just love how this tag turned out :)

Used a creepmas digi from Smeared Ink - "North Pole- Serial Killer Santa".

Coated half of the tag with a heavy layer of glue and then a heavy layer of Diamond Dust from TWINKLETS. Coated the other half with PUFFY dimensional fabric paint and set to dry. When dry I heat embossed so it puffed up like snow. Did the same on image where it was "snow".

It really feels like I don´t want to end up out there...or what do you think? :)

I´ve altered my flower vase. Used a new cool image from Smeared Ink called "Gonna Get You Snowman" by artist - Angela Brown. Used glitter gel pens and posca pen. Some jute fabric and matching christmas scrapbook paper.

I´ve made yet another tag for today...
Printed out three times. One on blue paper, one for fussy cut all the ornaments (eyes& skulls) , pot and one for the bat at top ( a bit bigger than the rest).
Coloured and covered all the ornamnets with glossy accent.

Creepmas day 7 !

Time for the Seventh day of Creepmas Smeared and Smudged Style 2012 !

Gosh! can hardly remember which techniques used on the background :) but i dry embossed it with snowflakes. Highlighted them with ink pad "bronze" then covered the whole tag with clear embossing powder. The snowflakes is TH die. The image is from Smeared ink Rubber Club but is also available in digi "As Death set" .

Stamped with bronze ink pad on coated gold paper, then clear heat embossed.

Used distress ink pad and acrylic paint dabber on tag. also used the sprits & flickr technique but doesn´t show that well. The big star is chipboard and first a coated it with distress stain and dried then covered the star with distress crackle pait and set to dry. After it dries I covered it with distress stain picket fence so the cracks would show some more..

Image is from Ikes Art a digi called "HONEY" and I think she is a naughty girl :)

Painted her with distress markers and glitter gel pens.

Smudgy Antics Weekly Challenge - Distress it!

Hope you all have a good time during Creepmas :)

This weeks challenge over at Smudgy Antics is "DISTRESS IT" so use of Tim Holtz products and /or tearing is perfect for this one and why not combine it with the 12 days of Creepmas Smeared and Smudged Style!

I made a tag using one of Smeared Inks new digis " Defrosting Skullman" made by artist Angela Brown. Don´t you just love this image!? :) way cool.

*I started with distress stain picket fence and tumbled glas on tag. Then I stamped a rubber background from Smeared ink Rubber Club called Urban decay.

Covered the tag with acrylic paint dabber "snow cap" and then a heavy layer of Distress Stickles " clear rock candy"

The image is painted with Distress Markers and Distress Ink Pad. Covered with crackle paint. Fussy cut branches and layered on top. Some snowflake stickers as decoration and Distress Edge Tool around the tag.

Used digi stamps from the Build a Zombie set from Smeared ink (5 different heads).

Painted with Sakura Gel Pens. Used Spellbinder dies, circles and stars. Pine Branches dies from Sherry Lynn.

I made a tag that I think turned out kinda cool :P

First I stamped a rubber stamp from Smeared Ink RUBBER CLUB called As Death Set also available as digi. Then used different distress ink colours. Stamped a snowflake stamp in various techniques around the edges and heat embossed. Clear heat embossed the entire tag. The santa hat is a rubber from ehhh, don´t remember.. :). Doodled with a white posca pen.

Creepmas day 3!

Time for the Third day of Creepmas Smeared and Smudged Style 2012 !

I have altered these ADVENT candles. I stamped rubber in distress ink pad "red berries" on white tissue that I then clear embossed ( some say it gets a more intense colour when doing this but I don´t know) . Cut round the image and then place on candle and hold baking paper tight over the image then heat emboss quite fast as it melts. Then I just take the baking paper away and the tissue is stuck on the candle :)

A mounted rubber stamp I won in 31days of Halloween from 100 Proof Press
Clear stamp letters from Inkadinkado (creepmas)
also used a digi stamp printed out on shrink plastic Skull Anatomy 101 from Smeared Ink

As decoration I used a new edge die from TM "tree line" that I covered the edges with Adirondack acrylic paint dabber "snow cap". Some metal tags with American Crafts foam letters and red twine with some charms. At the bottom of tray I just covered it with plastic snow, gems and mini pom poms.

I made a pater lantern with vellum flocked windows and heat embossed all the edges with glitter gold powder. For handle I´ve used a Martha Stewart punch.

The digi stamp I´ve used is the popular "Anatomy 101- Skull Front" digital from Smeared Ink.
Printed them out on different colour papers and dipped them in clear utee in the melting pot and added some yellow couse I wanted them to look like lights but it doesn´t show that well :)
for hanging I used some pearl hats that I cut to fit and stringed them up on a gold metal wire.
The snowflake is a TH die.

I love these plastic balls, so fun to alter :)

I´ve used a new digi from Delicious Doodles " skully-xmas-wreath" on one side and a digi from Smeared Ink " Watchful Eye" on the other side.


There is some plastic "snow" that shakes around :)
