Wild Woman...

I have made an art journal/mixed media page for you today...as Design Team inspiration for Smeared Ink.

There is a brand new rubber set called WILD WOMAN made by Alexandria Serrano coming in the rubber club and I´ve used one of the images from that set. They are all very detailed and beautifully made. The images are so powerful that I didn`t want any words on it...I like it as it is...

I have used copics to color the woman. Gesso in black and white, a dot stencil that I covered with blue acrylic paint and I have also used perfect pearls and mod podge. The lines are made with a black posca pen.

The current anything goes Smeared Ink challenge is still going on and you can find the link in the left hand side bar in the Smudgy Antics blog.

Thank you!

Altered box...

Hi,

This is my design team project for Smeared Ink.

I got a golden shiny box from ebay when I ordered some foundation...so I thought it was a fab idea to do a makeover on it that fits me more :)

Stamped two different stamps from the poe rubber set that I got from The Smeared Ink rubber club on silver tissue with three colors of archival ink. Added the tissue with mod podge. Painted the inside and edges with black gesso and did a mixture of americana crackle and perfect pearls powder that I added as a top coat. Did the same thing on flowers as on tissue. Also added a decorative handle...
The inside is filled with some candy brains...oh my...they were really disgusting to eat...tasted like chemicals, toxic :)

Thank you for watching my project today and please take part in our monthly challenge - anything goes Smeared Ink. You can find the link in the left hand sidebar on this blog.

2015 Calendar...

Yes, I´ve made a mixed media canvas background that I first used the glue gun to add some kitchen foil ( a new technique for me) to the canvas and then painted it with black gesso. It gets a similar texture as crumbled tissue but a bit harder in both feel and look. I then added some acrylic paint in green, pink and silver. On top it is a layer of heat embossing powder and then some black gesso on just the surface.
I have used only red rubber from the Smeared Ink rubber club and it is from the "winged things", "poe" and "urban decay" set and I stamped them with distress ink embossing pad and added white or pink embossing powder as you can see ;) The heart wing on the upper right is filled with white posca pen after embossing.

Very girly...lol..but I like it and I hope you do too..

Don´t forget to take part in our monthly challenge "anything goes" as long as it it a smeared ink stamp on it..digi or rubber..your choice!

I am entering the Haunted Design House challenge "whats new pussycat" and I´ve used a new technique and started with a new calendar.

Also entering the Corrosive Challenge Blog " Shiny and new" and I´ve used a new technique and also started off with a brand new calendar for 2015. It is also very shiny and sparkles from the embossing but it doesn´t show in the photo.

Thanks!

POE...

Hi,

(This is my project for Smudgy Antics as a part of the Smeared Ink design team.)

It is my turn too inspire you guys with some Smeared Ink...

I´ve made a canvas...started of with a BIG canvas that I painted so many times I can´t even remember how many...I was never satisfied with it...lucky for me I think it looks so much cooler with many layers..gives it structure and depth..
One of the layers is burlap..and lots of lots of paint..also used tissue that I stamped on and added with decoupage. around the edges there is a heavy layer of structure paste. I was not satisfied with the big canvas so I took my scissor and cut out the parts that I wanted and added the bits to a smaller canvas.

The big poe piece is digital paper from Smeared Ink called "Poe Boy Digital Paper Pack" and I printed it out on regular printer paper and added it to canvas with modpodge.
All the other poe rubber stamps is from the Smeared Ink Rubber Club and I stamped them on white tissue and added them with decoupage.
Around the edges there is tissue too but grey and I´ve used a rubber stamp from the "urban decay" set, also from the Smeared Ink Rubber Club.

I hope you don´t forget to take part in our monthly challenge...anything goes Smeared Ink :) Just add your project in the mr linky widget.

Thank you so much for taking a peek at my project today..hugs lisa.
