Poe Charm...

I´ve had a lot of free time lately and it has been good for me :)

My new favourite place to hang out is Pinterest and I found a tutorial by Tammy Tutterow how to make shrink plastic look like fused glass...so I made a cool pendant that I will show later on and I also made a POE CHARM with a similar technique.

Used rubber stamps from the POE set by Smeared Ink. I love so many images and brands of digital stamps but I always find myself with red rubber in my hands...

So I stamped the images on sanded shrink plastic and alcohol inked the back. Shrinked them and painted them as I wanted and then dipped them in 2 or 3 layers of CLEAR UTEE.

All the bits of pearl charms and all that are made by me to match up...

I am having two ATCs to show you...
First of I stamped some rubber backgrounds from the urban decay set by Smeared Ink on scrapbook paper. Then I made an image transfer on sticky back canvas. Painted heavy layers of  distress crackle paint and set to dry over night and it almost feel like leather when its done because of the canvas. Painted the surfaces with two shades of  copics. The hears is also from the rubber club and colored with copics. The text is just printed out in fonts that I like...

I hate taking picks at night...it is so freakin hard to show them  justice.... ;)

Made a mini canvas for the love of POE as my final project. Made with rubber stamps from Smeared Ink. The background is stamped and heat embossed. The skull is stamped in air dry clay and the hearts behind the skull is stamped on shrink plastic and baked. Added the POE letters with rub ons and the mini beads with decoupage. Also added some black feathers.

Kristy Wow, what a turn out to see all the lovely and bloody projects yesterday...Can hardly wait until tonight! I´ve made a card for today with a similar alcohol background as yesterday... I have stamped it with rubber from Smeared Ink. The image is a new one from Smeared Ink and is called "other side of fear" . It is colored with copics and cut out. Made some faux stitches with scrappy floss around the image and on bg. Also made some stitches on the felt heart...

Hi, you came here from Susan R and here is my card for the hop...

Used alcohol ink and blending solution in red, black and silver on glossy white cardstock. Stamped some words from the "heart wings" rubber stamp set from Smeared Ink with black archival ink. It did not show that well so I filled the letters with a white posca pen and a sacura silver glitter gel pen.

The heart with wings is from the same rubber set and it is stamped in air dry clay and then painted with black gesso and then buffed with inka gold graphite.

This is also my DT project for Smeared Ink and shown on the Smudgy Antics blog.

Made a tag as a dt for Smudgy Antics.

Used two new way cool images made by Alexandria Serrano for Smeared Ink and they are now available in the shop...

I bought some new Americana acrylic paint that I wanted to try out...mixed them individually with water and used a pippett for my bg technique. I´ve also made some random droplets with them. The image is colored with copics.
